Swedish post-punk duo LOW-RES have dropped an explosive new track alongside Johan Hinders. ‘Stigma’ is brimming with texture that ranges from those glowing, sunny opening moments courtesy of warm analogue synths, all the way to the noisy, darker moments that are filled with reverb and thick bass sounds. On the background of the new single, the duo say: “Johan slipped into the studio wearing a Rush t-shirt and with the lyrics, for Stigma, written down on a piece of paper. It was only when we got into the control room that we heard the song in its entirety for the first time. It became a completely new song, and so much better.” This track follows on from their acclaimed EP, Du å ja, which came out last year, and will form part of their second album, Däför, on May 5th, 2023. -Dan Peeke.
